Hello everyone.
How are you? Hope you are doing fine. From my last journal post to the one now, you must have experience lotsa ups and downs in life. Many things have happened as well.
Firstly, thank you guys for your reply in my previous journal. Sorry for not being able to reply them one by one. :$ My bad. I realize that my DA page is very dead. I haven't been doing much CGs after I went to India. For those of you who don't know, I have been back in Malaysia early this year and YESHH, I managed to passed the apprenticeship in India!
I'm currently working in Rhythm & Hues Malaysia. As of late, I have been working for almost 8 months + now.
It's awesome! My first job.
I have my own income! The ability to feed myself and buy stuff that i need/want and also, to contribute/support, pay my own bills! It's an amazing feeling.
Also realised that I have less and less time to do things but that shouldn't be an excuse to stop me from drawing. ;D Oh yes, I still draw, as in sketch here and there but no coloured CGs. I think I need to get back to basics. I'm kinda rusty. When I go through my DA and see my CG works, sometimes I can't believe I did that or was capable of doing that at one time. It's like looking through the eyes of another person, a person who forgot his/her abilities.
Well, aside from that, I've been lurking around DA, starting this week only. I view works from the ppl whom I've dev watch and are watching me and WOW... as usual, u guys improve a lot compared to when I first watched you. It shows lah, how much passion you have in drawing and for you it's not just a hobby, it's a habit, a lifestyle; because no matter how tired, uninspired, lazy or busy, you guys still make time to draw and post up stuff. So ya, I should learn from you (you know who you are). Imma start by sketching on paper again, slowly get back on track.
So to you who are reading this, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for inspiring me both through your art and your positive attitude towards it.
Keep on drawing. I will also, continue watching your works!
Thank you for reading this post.
Sorry it's long.
Cheers,
Ed.
